Mr Symon W Msefula, Bsoc(Econ), MSc.(Fin)
Mr Symon Msefula trained locally and internationally in economics and finance. He has over 20 years experience in international banking and finance. His main area of interest is corporate finance and financial markets. He is also keen in the application of information technology in financial services. He has spent the last 10 years as an Executive Manager in corporate and merchant banking. He joined the Malawi Stock Exchange on 1st July, 2002 as Chief Executive Officer. Mr Msefula has sat on the boards of several local and international companies and organizations.

Mr John Robson Kamanga, Bsoc(Econ), MA(Econ)
Mr Kamanga was born in 1968. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Economics and a Masters of Arts (Economics) degree specializing in International and Monetary Economics. He is also an Associate Member of the South African Institute of Financial Markets. Mr Kamanga joined Malawi Stock Exchange Ltd on 1st April 2000 as Operations Manager responsible for the smooth function of the market operational activities of the Exchange. At the Exchange he was instrumental in the initial set up of call over session and procedures. Mr Kamanga also worked for MIRTDC from June 1995 to March 2000. The joined MIRTDC as a Research Economist. At MIRTDC he spearheaded the establishment of the Commercial Department and was responsible for the economic appraisal and market assessment. He also worked at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry as trade Economist for 2 years. Mr Kamanga serves as a member of the Corporate Governance Task Force and the Economics Association of Malawi.
